I didn’t want to start another thread but I have a question so I will post it here. This Friday, July 1, is Canada Day which is the anniversary of Canada’s confederation. One of the ways it is celebrated is by huge fireworks displays. From where I live, I am often able to see the main fireworks display from my balcony. As these fireworks don’t start until it is dark, it will be after Shabbat starts. Is there any halachic reason why I should not watch the fireworks on Shabbat?
