Their own argument is that it ingratiates “Torah-True Judaism” with the Arab world, lessening their hatred of us. And can possibly save Jewish lives down the line. Obviously based on your above comments you disagree.
And as I explained to skiaddict above, they purport to do this by focusing the hatred on those of us who live in Israel, which is the largest Jewish population in the world. Basically, they turn on us to save their own skins. Very noble.
