As I’ve posted (on other forums) in the past, I believe that in a past gilgul I was the son of a hardworking farmer who worked in the fields his entire life. He was a serf and had no hope of ever advancing his station. I was killed when I was twelve in a freak plowing accident, which was a good thing because I wasn’t much for farm work. My parents were very sad for a few weeks, but after a while they got used to it, and the fields weren’t going to harvest themselves.
