Avi, if someone received a benefit by falsely claiming to be a painter, he also can be prosecuted for fraud. If he claimed a tax break that only painters are eligible for, he is guilty of tax evasion. But a non-painter calling himself a painter isn’t a criminal offense nor is calling oneself a clergyman.
