That being said, as a matter of reality it appears almost a certainty that Trump will be nominated. The only way to stop that without a floor fight in a brokered convention is if every non-Trump candidate drops out immediately after the March 1 primaries, save for one candidate. That one logically would have to be Rubio, though it theoretically could be another. But it won’t happen since the others, especially Kasich, are egocentric self-centered who will put their own personal ambitions, despite having almost no chance of winning, ahead of country and party.
And since a Trump nomination virtually guarantees a Clinton victory, in 11 months from now Hillary will be President.
