I now see that you have added more definitions of what you believe “most” or even “all” MO believe, which is not true in my experience and I have lived in several different MO communities across the country. Joseph: Acknowledging that Reform people are practicing a form of Judaism does not mean that you have to grant them legitimacy as a movement.
Subtitle please: The difference is that Yoshke is a different god from a different religion. Reform people are practicing OUR religion, just with a lot of gaping holes missing. So-called Messianic Jews are practicing Xtianity dressed up as Judaism.
