Sometimes my efforts remain in vain.
Sometimes people view me with disdain.
Sometimes the pain seems too hard to endure.
Sometimes I need someone here to assure.
Sometimes life seems discouragingly daunting.
Sometimes harsh memories come back haunting.
Sometimes I want to give up and relinquish.
Sometimes bad and good so hard to distinguish.
Sometimes the choices we make are mistakes.
Sometimes life’s too fast-we hit the breaks.
Sometimes life passes seemingly senseless.
Sometimes people are alone and defenseless.
Life’s painful we know, there are struggles along,
But one day I’ll have survived, been so strong.
