Haven’t put anything up here for a while, so I thought I’d drudge up an old one:
Fix the World
The famine, the war, the hungry, the poor –
The picture of the little boy who
Had no clothes, his ribs exposed
Through taut skin, his arms so thin
He could have been a toy.
Another missing child, another tragedy,
Another quake, another flood, another million refugees.
And I sat and cried:
And G-d replied:
For I did what I should do,
I made a way to fix it
