interjection-I think kids today are generally more rebellious and lazy, and that’s why they reject everything as being shtussim. Everything feels like pressure to them, including putting on a shirt when coming to the table. So you can imagine how it feels for them having to do mitsvos, no matter how enjoyable you make it. My son would rather stay in bed with his android, than go to friends, family, or on a vacation. They don’t do anything they don’t feel like doing, especially when they can play hi-tech video games/watch movies for hours on end without getting up from their bed.
