1) There are some who unfortunately need to leave, because we can’t help them and they cause more problems than we can handle. 2) Kids go off because of mixed messages, like the ones that come from certain posters here. In some cases, the problem is one set of messages at home and another in school. In other cases, it is because confused kids turn to the Internet to find answers they like rather than the right ones.
