there are a few schools that dont require organic chem (at least this was true 15 years ago), however it is on the MCAT so skipping it and narrowing yourself to a few medical schools and studying it on your own for the MCAT, while possible, isnt a good idea.

Your question about constitutional isomers made me smile. I remember well how on the final we were hoping there would be a lot of questions regarding structures and naming that that is by far the easiest part of the course.
