I was once told by someone in a certain office that something I had done regarding my passport was unorthodox. (I happen to think they were wrong – if the Misrad Hapnim is willing to give me a “teudat maavar” instead of an Israeli passport, there’s nothing wrong with it, but that’s another story).
Anyhow, I told my Conservative cousin that I was very offended as I’m not used to be called unorthodox. He laughed and said that I’m definitely very Orthodox and he can attest to that fact.
