Reply To: Men shopping in young men’s section

Sometimes I say “you guys” to a group of only women.

Casually addressing any mixed or non-mixed gender group as, “you guys” was normal, in my hometown.

But now I don’t know what I’m supposed to say when it’s only women. “Girls” or “ladies” sounds too gendered.

“Guys” sounds more neutral to me. Perhaps that is why I keep saying “guys;” however, I’m biased.
