there are rules in the shulchan aruch of how to eat, but they have nothing to do with tznius, which is the title of this discussion.
ps. t22tango – can you quote a source for your – shuk being indoor too? doesn’t a shuk mean *out* in the streets. and the saying goes האוכל בשוק דומה לכלב. which by the way is referring mainly to mezonos, but of course eating in public is crass – WITH OR WITHOUT A SPOON!
