Reply To: Would you let your children listen to non-jewish music?

I laughed when i read the OP because his kids are already listening to music composed by gentiles. Many tunes sung by the contemporary chareidi artists are ripoffs from mainstream pop and even rap.
Even in the old country much of the music played at chassisish and other weddings were ripoffs of Ukranian, Polish, Russian and Hungarian tunes. Go to a Ukranian wedding today and you will think you are listening to a frum orchestra.
