ubiq, it was clear from even before it began that the Warsaw Uprising could not possibly defeat the German Army. It was clear before it began that it could only result in a massacre of the Jews in the ghetto. And that there was no possible positive outcome from having an uprising that could save Jewish lives rather than result in the immediate massacre of thousands and thousands of Jews.
