Because the Satmar Rebbe is a Tzadik Yesod Olam. A leader of the leaders. He was one of three Gedolei HaDor (the other two being Rav Aharon and Rav Moshe) who built the Torah community in America into what it is today. The Satmar Rebbe’s higher gadlus was held from by everyone across the Torah world spectrum; even by those who disagreed with him on some issues.
