Joseph, Is it comforting to say “Over 90% vaccinate”?
1. Where is this statistic from?
2. Who qualifies as “chassidim”? Many Litvish Yeshoivos have large numbers of chassidic boys.
3. Is it not possible that the vast majority of “chassidim” have 100% compliance, while certain specific groups “the problem chassidim” have a near ZERO compliance?
4. 10% non-compliance is huge! It would mean that statistically, EVERY single classroom of 20-30 students has 2-3 un-vaxxed students! Every simcha of 150 – 250 people has 15-25 un-vaxxed attendants! At a wedding, each table of 10 has one person sitting at your table! Every minyan, store, bakery, resturant..has people that could spread the disease. Yidden don’t live on farms with very little social contact – we interact and our lives intermingle.
