Syag: For me, the biggest kvetch regarding front-loaders is having to bend down every time to load/unload. Half the time, there is always one sock left in the washer that was stuck on the top of the tub/drum (whatever it is called) and difficult to see unless you were lying down on the floor looking up. We didn’t have room for those “stands” which raise the height of the washer/dryer closer to eye level.
