This is rather than wait for the NYPD to come down and ticket the car which is a low priority and even if they ticket it.Ii may take days until the car is removed. The tow truck will notify the police they picked up the car who when the owner reports the the car stolen, will tell him to pick it up at the the tow company’s pound.
