There will be no resignation, no impeachment and no invocation of the 25th Amendment. Obviously, I wish he were gone asap but for the next 12 days, nothing can be accomplished. The bipartisan congressional leadership have spoken with the Joint Chiefs and they will ignore any 11th hour order to do something stupid. Career staff at the federal agencies will do likewise to sabotage any last minute efforts to engage in vindictive and destructive actions on his way out the door.
The most effective way now to express disgust for the cholera in the WH would be for both houses of Congress to vote on Monday to censure the President for his actions this week. That would put them all on record and require them to vote up/down on their positions.
