We “WANT” Moshiach. Of course! But why? For “me”, not because of “Za’ar Hashechina. As brought out in another thread “Chabad Shelucha Re- Moshiach”, WE want Moshiach now!, and the dagesh is not WE but Hashem wants Moshiach, but we have to want it for the RIGHT REASON. We do mitzvos NOT to bring Moshiach, we do mitzvos because Hashem commanded us.
