That is a very cavalier attitude with putting Jews into Cherem. Please see the Talmud Bavli in numerous places about what a Cherem is. (IE. The Shvatim put into Cherem anyone who would reveal the story of Yosef and even Hashem did not reveal it .)
The US is not funding Hamas. You know exactly who the US is funding, you just want to twist it to fit your political purpose.
