Almost all of these fundraisers are legitimate. Why there are a lot is because each one is focusing on different things.
If you support Chabad, it depends on which city, if they’re on the east you’re supporting cities that are being bombed and you’re helping the Shluchim literally get food for people in the city that can’t get themselves (like older people) and on the east its getting harder and more expensive to get food.
If you support Shluchim and cities on the west you are mostly supporting the thousands of refugees that are pouring into those cites, they also need food and where to sleep.
The city of Kharkov is also doing its own fundraiser- it’s the second largest city in Ukraine and right by the Russian border, they have tons of people they need to help.
If you support hatzalah you are supporting all their efforts…
And basically almost all of these campaigns are legitimate, just look at what each specific one is doing.
(I do have to mention that I only heard of one that’s fake- that’s there’s no orphanage In the city of Mariupol, so that one might not be good, heard that from a rabbi that’s in Ukraine)
