When the Bais Hamikdosh was built and running we didn’t daven 3 times a day like we do now. The davening we do daily is instead of the daily korbanos we brought in the Bais Hamikdosh.
May we all do teshuva together ASAP as one loving nation so we can be deserving of the Geula Shleima and Hashem can send Mashiach to bring klal yisroel to Rebuild the 3rd Bais Hamikdosh very soon
