Can we at least agree that from a hashkafic point of view the founding fathers were “mored bmalchus “ and started a war that got thousands killed all for political reasons?
After all, it isn’t as if the colonists were being abused.

The average slave ship accepted “losses” of 1/3rd of their cargo each trip as the cost of doing business.
This is what was considered normal back then.
