Well, for one, ujm keeps advocating getting stoned drunk. In addition, both of you seem to have a view that every drunk is a happy, gleeful drunk, full of merriment. Haven’t you heard of, or experienced a nasty, mean drunk? Just ask any woman or child beaten up by a nasty drunk. What is your proof that all rebbeim are pleasant drunks.

Today, will a drunk rebbe, serving alcohol to his students, recognize inebriation ,or ask how much they’ve already drunk? Most teens can’t handle alcohol and don’t recognize the warning signs until it’s too late. And, I believe that in New York, anyone illegally serving alcohol to minors, or drunk 18 yr kids is legally responsible for damages incurred in a car accident.
