Are kosher markets willing to pay higher rentals than national supermarket chains? If so, it makes sense for the real estate firms to maximize their revenues from these locations. More likely, the national chains make a decision to close because their new customer base won’t purchase the higher margin food items and they cannot survive on low margin paper goods sales
