The marketing emails may have come from anywhere. One way I got marketing emails was because I gave to a tzedaka organization online and since then I’ve been bombarded with many tzedaka emails from that platform that was hosting their campaign. Usually there’s a way to unsubscribe from these types of emails on the bottom of the email.
