Generally speaking, the Mods generally provide considerable leeway in what is allowed to go through subject to the stated CR guidelines. I’m sure there are some that would prefer that all photos of women be photo-shopped out of news stories and that any expression of disagreement with a chashuve rav (even with the caveat of “with all due respect…”) result in immediate banishment from the CR. And indeed, there ares several frum websites that adhere to that type of editorial protocol if that is your preference. The growth and commercial success of YWN would suggest that there is a substantial market for the level of “oversight” provide here.
