“BTW think before you put us down”… “BTW, I know your wrong” Syrian, why do you think Ames was putting you down?? My husband is of Syrian origin and I did not feel she was putting “us” down. I grew up in the community and I can guarantee you 95% do not all go to Deal. And tons of Sephardic girls do go to sleep away camp. So far, many posters have said that they even knew of some SY girls who did go. The way the community has grown more religous, B’H, Fortunately, the only camps these girls can go to are Ashkenaz sleepway camps. There they get to meet other religous Ashkenaz girls. We are all Jews and I think it is wonderful that they get to meet and befriend other jewish girls. Well, need to get some ZZ’s. Have a good night.
