That’s what Birchat Hachama is now aproxcimately 3 weeks after the actual vernal equinox. But, that’s of lesser significance than masses of Jews joining togetgher to praise G-d is. If it serves to let us forget that which divides us for a little way and concntrate onf that which unites, us, it’s a worthwhile endeavor.
