Goldie: I believe one should try to refrain from cutting fingernails and toenails on the same day because you do that on a dead person.
The order is…(..tada..)
left hand: fourth, second, fifth, third, first finger (being the thumb)
then you do the right hand: second, fourth, first, third, fifth.
