Oh it makes a big difference! If you have ABS and you pump the brakes, the ABS program does not kick in. Basically, you are shutting off the computer and saying that you can pump the brakes better yourself (but you can’t).
If you have ABS, press down hard and let the computer pump for you. But braking is not always the best way to regain control…..
