You say that vitamin water is healthy? I thought otherwise, but I could be wrong – I frequently am. Let’s examine the facts:

1) Contains electrolytes, Vitamins B3 B5 B6 B12 C and sometimes E.

2) Most americans are not vitamin deficient

3) Many vitamin water brands contain caffeine

4) Contains more than half as many calories as soda, serving for serving

5) Contains 25-30 grams of sugar, generally in the form of HFCS

6) HFCS is generally regarded as less healthful than natural sugar

7) Any drink with that much sugar contains acid to neitralize the over-sweetness (some of the acid in V-H2O is the Vitamin C)

8) Dentists claim that acid is bad for your teeth

These are real facts, so we can draw our own conclusions. But IMHO, anything that tastes like jello is probably not going to improve your health. And if you want vitamins, dissolve a multi vitamin in a glass of water 🙂
