PY 613, we’re not eradicating minhagim here. We’re discussing them. Another issue that disturbs me greatly, is the fact that there are young children handling the chickens and doing the kapparos! I mean, this is insanity. How can mothers let their young boys handle chickens all night? I was completely shocked the first time I saw this.
