It also helps if you know the doctor’s philosphy. I had a doctor who was a phramacist before she became a physician. She was always quick to prescribe drugs. Other doctors are not necessarily like that. In general, I have found that DOs are less likely to prescribe drugs than MDs. But that could just be my experience.
