Ames – I love Subsational too!! Haven’t been to the Boro Park one though. Flatbush one is too closeby to warrant a trip to BP. Ashkenaz don’t like spicy things, so I guess they adjust the taste according to the customers. I remember going to a wedding and this obvious Askenaz girl was tasting something and complaining it was to spicy. I went to try what she was having. It wasn’t spicy at all in the hot sense, but it did have a lot of herbs to it. I guess to some people, having lots of herbs is considered “spicy”
