I once bought an item on Ebay and negotiated with the seller via email to pick it up from him rather than paying for shipping since it was a very heavy item and most of the cost was shipping. After I picked up the item and “marked it as paid” the seller tried to cancel the transaction, I assume for this reason so he wouldn’t have to pay the fee. I responded to him that the transaction was done, deal closed and he didn’t take it any further. I guess he realized that I was bening honest and wouldn’t give in to his tricks and he probably wanted me to do business with him in the future as this wasn’t the first time I had bought from him.
