I wouldn’t go that far, bombmaniac. Macs are good, easy to use and rock-solid. Ubuntu Lounx really is ready for the desktop; does everything except high-end gaming. If you don’t like either, then for the first time I’d say a Windows product is a perfectly good alternative.
