As a parent of both boys and girls, NO ONE NEEDS TEXTING!!!!! it is the worst thing in the world to happen. NO ONE TALKS ANYMORE!! forget about inappropriate conversations with people (boys and girls), what about the fact that they don’t talk to YOU! Drive in a car with a teenager that has texting, NOT A PEEP the whole ride. If they want to do something, they text you, they don’t call. A parent can “hear” a child’s voice when they talk to them. Texting does not let you pick up on the nuances of a conversation.
