i personally know a few modern families in lakewood, and saying that lakewood is exclusive is wrong. we are all jews, whether you agree or disagree on certain points, is irrelevant to the fact that we are all jews. if you feel that you are better because you are “yeshivish” or because you attend a certain yeshiva…and you think of yourself as a person with just a smidgen of ahavas yisroel, and you feel that you are a person who cares for the wellbeing of every jew both spititually and physically…wouldnt you want them in your community so that you can bring them into the fold? wouldnt you want the opportunity to make them better people and help them grow spiritually?
