Every time anyone makes any criticism of the status quo inevitably someone trots out “why don’t you join the reform jews.” I am very proud to be a frum woman. I do not seek or want any fame for myself. Very simply put, I and many in the frum community do not like women being erased from Jewish history. I am only looking out for the self esteem of our daughters and granddaughters that they see images of frum women as not being sinful.
