thnaks mine is on a pedestal and spinning great although the highest spin is really like a jet engine. but its quiet and doesnt jump around, I just mean its really powerful. I love my new machine. Cant say enough great things about it. but i can see how it might not be practical in a house full of little ones because the door does need to stay opened to dry out.
