There was a professor who recently went on the twinkie diet, to prove that the only thing that counts is calorie intake. He ate 1800 calories daily of mostly junk food.
He lost 27 lbs. in ten weeks.
His LDL (bad cholesterol)went down 20%
His HDL (good cholesterol) went up 20%
His triglyceride level went down 39%
