Please don’t be quick to judge. You just never know what is behind each guest’s decision to attend the hotel for Pesach. If they can afford it, why not? Maybe they finally have everyone together and a hotel is just the thing. Maybe the in-laws are treating. Maybe this pesach comes after such difficult nisyonos that everyone just needs to breath. I agree that home is the best. All the special foods and minhagim and nothing is dictated by a schedule , but sometimes, a hotel is a g-d sent.
