You’re right that adults don’t necessarily know it all (just because they’re adult doesn’t mean they’re wise). But teens, (the bright as well as the not so bright) are pretty young with little life experience and they’re POSITIVE they know best! Of course the teen can be right and the adult wrong, but pretty often, the opposite is true.
