I agree with tro11. I think the whole ‘women are closer to Hashem’ thing was said by people to justify Judaism against attacks by feminism, but they cut off their nose to spite their face (I’m sure there’s a more appropriate adage I just can’t think of it). Either way I don’t believe it.
