I’ve been the beneficiary of having it said out loud several times. Since it’s toward the end of davening, it’s easy to forget. Someone reminding you in the middle of davening is not necessarily a bad thing (although I would never do so myself).
My beef is when one person says it out loud and then another person says it less than two seconds later. Does he think that we’re *that* stupid (well, yes, I know that I am — but most people in the shul aren’t) to have forgotten less than two seconds later? Or is he just trying to “prove” that he said it (why? Is someone going to confront him about it later on?)?
