I think that sometimes a thread is closed because it has been analyzed to death. Sometimes there is only just so much to be said about a topic before it becomes stale. With the “cut fruit” topic, what more could have been said? All sides of the issue appeared to have been dealt with – often a lot more than once. I don’t think that the moderators go out of their way to make anyones life miserable – but they must be very objective and I am sure that there are guidelines that they must follow. OTOH, I have had my posts nixed more than a few times – I guess I must have crossed the YWN line.
